Whitby — Todd McCarthy was selected as the next Conservative Party of Canada candidate for Whitby on February 7th.

“It's such an honour to be chosen to represent the Conservative Party of Canada in the riding of Whitby. I want to thank my wonderful family, the hundreds of party members and friends, both old and new and the hard working riding association for their help and support in securing this nomination. It's great to be part of a growing team of candidates for the Conservative team,” said McCarthy
McCarthy is a partner in the law firm of Flaherty McCarthy. In the past, he served as a trustee and vice chair of the Durham Region Separate School Board (now the Durham Catholic District School Board), and as chair of the Scarborough Hospital Foundation.
